Our approach
We aim to use clear language, consistent navigation, keyboard-accessible controls, labelled forms, meaningful headings, readable contrast, responsive layouts and alternative text for informative images. The website is designed to work with current browsers and common assistive technology.
Known limitations
Some uploaded documents supplied by third parties or created from older source files may not yet be fully accessible. Complex tables, externally embedded maps and documents awaiting conversion may be harder to use with some assistive technology. We are reviewing these areas as the service develops.
Requesting help or another format
If you cannot access information or need it in another format, email info@torbc.co.uk or call 01474 660260. Tell us the page or document, the format you need and how we should contact you. We will consider the request and respond as soon as reasonably possible.
Visiting the centre
Website accessibility is separate from physical access. Please tell the centre team about your access needs before a visit so that the available routes, facilities and any reasonable arrangements can be discussed.
Feedback
Please report an accessibility problem to info@torbc.co.uk. Include the page address and a short description of the difficulty. We use feedback to prioritise improvements.
